FLORIDA

Florida

Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state, with the Gulf of Mexico to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Alabama and Georgia to the north-northwest and north-northeast, respectively. In climate, geography, and culture, the "Sunshine State" is widely known for subtropical and tropical climates, beaches, and hot weather. Major attractions include the Everglades, the Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, and other theme parks. Miami is the state's largest city, and the fourth-most populous in the whole United States.
