Vermont

Vermont is a state in the New England region of the United States. The 14th smallest U.S. state, it covers an area of 24,923 square miles, which includes Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, New Hampshire to the east, New York to the west, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. Montpelier, the capital, is the smallest and least populous state capital in the U.S. But Burlington, the most populous city, is the least populous city to be the most populous in its state. Vermont is home to three national parks, 11 state parks, and a variety of recreation and outdoor activities.
